Today we want to share some must know tips before hanging out with us on the Rainbow River! The Rainbow is Florida's fourth largest spring. It puts out around 500 million gallons of water a day from over 100 spring vents and 1,000 sand boils. It's crystal clear for over 6 miles before it joins the Withlacoochee River. Here are some tips we share with our guests before visiting us to get on the water!
- The Rainbow has a no disposable, no alcohol law. Any food and drinks brought on the water must be in reusable containers.
- The entry point for our shuttle is at KP Hole County Park. They charge $7 per person to enter the water. We recommend cash for that.
- There is a restaurant along the way if you want to stop for lunch or a drink prior to floating back to your car.
- We ALWAYS recommend a dry bag or waterproof phone case for valuables. We offer some for purchase at our shop.
- Please fill out a liability release form on our page prior to arriving.
- Always arrive 20 minutes early to your appointment time.
